Sometimes in our lives at certain point we have to make some very important decisions, like deciding about graduation school, selecting job, buying home, investing money and deciding about priority to other activities. These decisions can change the way of our living, these can affect our whole life.

Same situation is with me, I have experienced this type of decision in my Life. I was a very tough time for me, I thought a lot before taking decision so that I should not have any regrets for my decision later on. My name is Brittni Payne. I have been working since I was 16. I have acquired all my belongings through my own pay. I am paying for my car, my clothes, bedroom furniture, and everything I own right now. I have been involved with student council, choir, and other clubs and organizations throughout my high school career. I have been in music since I was a freshman. I have been in "Anything Goes", "Titanic", and "L'il Abner". I have enjoyed doing music very much in the past. I have a great passion for singing, acting and performing on the stage. I love being in the cast of our school shows.

This being my senior year so I don’t want to miss it and I want to make best of my last year at school.  My school arranges annual musical show every year. I had planned on doing musical performance this year and the show was planned for April. But this year musical show was moved up three months which caused a problem with my work schedule. I was not allowed to take off a month's worth of time for musical rehearsals from work and keep my job. I did not want to miss my senior year musical show either. I had to make the choice between an event that plays a big role in my high school year and a job with the best hours and pay.

I talked with both my manager and my singing group directors to work out a compromise. But both said no compromise will work in this situation and I have to choose between my job and musical show. My senior year only happens once, so I decided to be in this year's musical show and find a different job, because the one I have now will no longer be able to keep me, when I will return. I know it is not easy to get a new job with good pay, but it is not impossible. I can find a new job but I can’t go back to my last year of my school. I have no regrets at all about my decision and I will be satisfied throughout my life.
