The War on Terrorism or war on terror is a campaign initiated at September 18, 2001 by USA. It was in response to September 11, 2001 attacks. The slogan of this is “to curb the spread of terrorism."

It was initiated by America and later joined by other countries all around the world. Several NATO and non-NATO countries participate in its military operations. Non–NATO countries include Australia, Ethiopia, Finland, India, Israel etc. These countries not only help US war campaign by military contribution but also through legal, political, religious, and personal actions. The War on Terrorism has been allowed by the United States Congress through authorization to avail military force against terrorists.
Terrorism is itself a word that tends to strike a feeling of fear in someone’s heart. Terrorism in accordance of meaning by Encarta World English Dictionary is “any political violence or threat of violence like kidnapping, bombing and assassination carried for political benefits.”

Instead of religious issues, which are usually discussed in news, numerous other issues also come under the same term. Other issues include ethical, economical and the most important is brutality. Another important major is that, United States is not the only area which is affected by terrorism. It is world-wide problem that encloses all nations. In the grand scheme, war against terrorism has not been as successful as it should be. Almost a decade later, it was decided to spread peace all around the world as well as in USA, but it didn’t happen yet. Rather it magnified, intensified.

Nothing happens overnight, US have several anti-terrorism policies, they have worked on some of them and some are also in working, they are struggling as fast as possible. War on terrorism in US has a clear-cut set of aims and objectives; the major is to secure loose nuclear weapons from terrorists. Negotiation of verified global ban on production and spread of nuclear weapons or material. This would be in favor of all countries specially America. US are willing to support all nations, globally.

It’s a common example that war is never ever smooth and easy. For this reason, US believe and apply safety precautions for their citizens not only in the public sector but in the private sector. War against terrorism in USA is considered as a safety precaution rather than an attack. It is the right of an individual or a nation to be safe not only at national level but also globally.
From the beginning, US war campaign debated no matter how well funded and well trained are terrorist, we will defeat them.
No matters, what is the method the ultimate goal is to defeat terrorists and destroy their organizations, through: Identification of their lactation and destroy terrorists, their aims and objectives and organizations. Deny of any type of support and sanctuary to terrorists, complete defense of US citizens and their interests at home as well as abroad.
