A literature review is basically a survey report which discusses about the literature related to concerning area of study. People think that a literature review is something horrible and no one can write it properly. Truly, it is bit difficult but not too much to do. You can write it up to the mark by keep in mind some do’s and don’ts of literature review writing.

 


Students face problem in review writing because they don’t have information that how to write a literature review. Before discussing it, first of all understand what is a literature review? It is a brief overview of your studied topic which also determines your opinion about the topic in chronologically organized way.

• Don’t use unfamiliar technical terms.

• Try to give a critical assessment of your chosen literature topic, try to state the weaknesses and gaps in previous studies, try to raise questions and give suggestions for improvement.
• Always use first person when you are going to write argue.
• Always list your ideas or theories in an unrepeated and sensible sequence.
• Write a complete bibliography that provides the resources from where you had collected the data in this literature review.
• Also, get feedback and suggestion from your colleagues to improve your review.
