Traveling is a great way to gain experiences and knowledge, a good
opportunity to learn about different people, cultures, environment,
and nature of other countries. Traveling is one of my personal
interests because it made me an open-minded person especially when
it comes to communicating with people living in other countries.
Before having traveling experiences I used to think that I had done
everything there was to do and I had seen everything there was to
see, but I was absolutely wrong. Thanks to traveling, now I have
learned many new things.
Each culture in the world has a solid boundary between itself and
other cultures, a boundary which can be linguistic, geographical or
religious. Each culture has great internal consistency. People
within the culture behave more or less the same. Each culture has a
stable set of customs that has remained unchanged over time. Through
traveling I have learned about many cultures of Asia, Europe and
Africa including many new things about different cultures; their
customs, way of living, cloths, food, traditions and the like. At
the same time while traveling and learning about different people
and their cultures, I have learned about my family and myself. Now I
am well aware that different cultures may come from different places
and practice different traditions, but we do have many things in
common.

In the meantime I have seen different nature habitats, including
basin swamps, wet Flatwoods, sand hills, wet prairies and cypress
swamps. I came across very rare plants and shocking wildlife species
including red cockaded woodpeckers, gopher tortoises, Flatwoods
salamanders and carnivorous pitcher. Everything that I have learned
from that nature has put me back in contact with the basic mindset
of childhood. Nature has reminded me to embrace and respect life and
be curious about everything in this whole world. Before all of this
due to lack of interest I never thought about nature at all but
after my traveling experience I am really interested in learning and
exploring nature.
Being resident of United States, I am more comfortable with slight
cold weather. While traveling I have experienced different kinds of
weather conditions. I think it is very difficult to adjust yourself
with different weather conditions when you quickly move from one
place to other. Now I have sufficient information about climates of
different countries, so next time I would not be having any problems
with weather. The most important thing that I have learned is never
trust weather while you are traveling; especially weather in Europe
is not dependable at all.
Traveling is a great way to broaden experience and to gain exposure
to other cultures, nature and environments of different countries;
thus it is a great way to learn about everything in the whole world.
